Laverton Turn On.

MAJOR ROOFTOP SOLAR SYSTEM SWITCHED ON IN MELBOURNE’S WEST.
We are proud to announce we have recently commissioned a major commercial project in Laverton North.
It included installation of a 202.8 kW rooftop PV system, one of the largest privately-owned rooftop systems in the country, and a complete retro-fit of factory lighting with latest-technology LED.
The project was officially launched last Thursday 13th of February, by the Victorian Minister for Environment and Climate Change and Minister for Youth Affairs, the Hon. Ryan Smith MP.
Mayor Fairclough of Wyndham Council was in attendance as were a number of involved industry representatives and the owners and management of Tip Top Butchers.

After a short speech, an installation inspection was offered, followed by informal discussions with light refreshments.

We would like to acknowledge system owners, Paul and Carlo De Bortoli of Tip Top Butchers, for their commitment to ‘green’ technology, environmental sustainability and reducing their carbon footprint. Special thanks go to Kent Goodwin, Tip Top’s project co-ordinator, for his partnership and assistance with the project.

Very special thanks go to system installer Allen Burrows of Mighty Mouse Solar.
His commitment to getting it right were vital in getting the job done.

Laverton goes Live!

We are pleased to let you know that the 200kWatt system we have recently completed has now gone on line.!
There will be a commissioning event held in near future when a number of local political figures and representatives of the companies involved, will attend. More news later.

Tip Top have been assisted by a grant from AusIndustry and anticipate a “pay back” period of only 5 years. After that, they can expect to see very significant savings in their electricity bill and Green House emissions..

Already many kgs of CO2 have been saved from entering the atmosphere. This saving further augmented by a major switching over to low energy LED lighting, also organised and managed by Euan Angus Solar.

News and a New website.

Euan Angus Solar has been up and running for some months now and an exciting time it has been.
We are very happy to tell our friendly customers, old, new and ‘yet to be’, how pleased we are with the first couple of projects we have been involved with.
The main project so far has been the installation of numerous LED lights and 200 kW of panels on a factory in Laverton.
This project will be completed towards the end of the year, on time, on budget and with minimal inconvenience to the business.
We will be saying more about this in due course.

The other news is that the website, presently just one page, will soon be a little bigger and more interesting, informative and effective.
Bookmark this site and come back often.

Finally, if we can help you or anybody you know, please pass our details on.
Thank You.
